Short-Term Condo Rentals

Owners of Short-Term Rental Units must provide separate authorization forms to The Peninsula Master Association to release temporary gate codes for each applicable property management company. Email Susan.Anderson@CMAcommunities.com to obtain forms. Owners must have a vehicle decal request form on file, OR provide proof they own the rental unit. Once ownership is confirmed and the completed authorization form is received, your management company will be set up to receive temporary gate codes for the use of your short-term guest.

Management companies should Email Susan.Anderson@CMAcommunities.com AT LEAST 72 HOURS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL OF GUESTS (this does not include weekends). We are NOT set up to issue gate codes for last-minute bookings. The email should reflect the name/address/length-of-stay in the body of the email. Please ask your management company to use the following subject line: GATE CODE REQUEST UNIT XXXX.

Owners, please provide the following information to the management company to give to the GUESTS:

“All short-term guests are required to check-in at The Peninsula main guard house to obtain a temporary visitor pass and information related to The Peninsula. Prior to providing a visitor pass to the short-term rental guest, the rental agreement and ID must be presented and viewed by the gate guard. The ID presented MUST match the name on the rental agreement. The temporary pass must remain in sight while on The Peninsula property. The issued gate code is to be used between the hours of 10PM to 6AM at the MAIN GATE ONLY.” 

FOR OWNERS ONLY:
An administrative fee is charged to each owner, via their COA, for each gate code issued, to off-set Master Association costs.  Please be advised there are fines for attempting to bypass these procedures. Also, gate openers (remotes or fobs) are only for the use of owners and loaning out gate openers may lead to them being deactivated.
